Steps we take you through to help you reach your goal:

1. When you call us we discuss with you what you want to accomplish, then give our input of how we will help you reach it.

2. Your first meeting with us starts with you filling out a health evaluation form, which details your fitness goals, and any injuries, operations, or conditions that you have or had. This is to help us design your program, and to understand your current condition and goal. If you have injuries for which you have been seeing a doctor, chiropractor, sports injury specialist, etc., we would like to talk to that specialist, with your permission, to find out dos and don'ts for your condition.

3. We then test your body fat and muscle percentage using the electrode bioimpedance method which measures the body's ability to conduct a minute amount of electrical current, which is based on the amount of lean body mass present. This is the most accurate mobile unit, it has a plus or minus accuracy of 3%. Body fat testing assesses where you are and where you need to be.

4. Next we have you fill out a food and activity form with our help to customize a food program with the right amount of calories, protein, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates you need to reach your goal.

5. We then test you on 8 different exercises and stretches to find out your strengths and weaknesses, so we can personalize the workout program best suited for your needs.

All of the information from steps 1 through 5 above is used to customize a complete workout and food program that is tailored for your specific goal. The workout and food program is compiled into a book.

What is in the customized book you receive?

Section one: A detailed explanation and description of your workout program, describing every section of your workout program in easy to understand format, how it works, and how to use it for maximum results.

Section two: Photos and descriptions

Photos and descriptions contain:

Your stretches for each body part showing proper form and execution and a routine to follow.

All your exercises for quadriceps (front of thigh), hamstrings (back of thigh), upper back, lower back, chest, shoulders, biceps (front of upper arm), and triceps (back of upper arm) showing start to finish of each exercise.

Your exercises for your waist (abdominal), calves, and forearms visually explaining proper form, execution, and technique.

Your grocery list is for your convenience when you go shopping. It has all your foods categorized in each food group and weekly portions for easy shopping.

Your calorie chart

Your calorie chart is for your convenience in case you want to create your own food program. It shows you how many calories to take in for weight loss, gain, or maintaining your weight. If you're not working out or exercising up to 4 hours.

Your body fat weekly or monthly calendar

Your body fat calendar is there for you to keep track of your progress. In order to know that you are gaining muscle and decreasing fat. We check your body fat at least once a month.

Your daily food and aerobic diary

This diary is for your own personal use to keep track of your food intake and aerobic time if needed.

How long does it take before you receive your personalized book?

It takes us one week to put your personalized workout and food program book together.

What happens then?

Your trainer will guide you through your first workout from your book demonstrating, and helping you through every step.

How often do we meet?

That all depends on your availability, financial status, if you need a lot of motivation to stay on track, and how fast you learn.

We always recommend purchasing 4 sessions and meeting once a week, it is the least expensive of the packages we provide, and will give you an idea whether or not you need more sessions.

If you feel you will never do it without the motivation and expertise of your trainer, we recommend purchasing 12 sessions and meeting 3 times a week.

If 4 sessions are to little and 12 is to much you can always go in between with an 8 session package and meet between 1 and 3 times per week.

What is the background of our Personal Trainers?

Our current trainers are certified in:

Exercise Physiology (definition: how the body reacts to different types of exercise, to aid you in knowing what happens to your physique during exercise.)

Exercise Kinesiology (definition: how muscles, joints, and connective tissue move, and respond during various types of exercise, to help you learn which exercises work which muscles.)

C.P.R. cardiopulmonary resuscitation (definition: To provide oxygen to the brain, heart, and other vital organs until appropriate, definitive medical treatment can restore normal heart and ventilatory action.)

Have at least 2 years experience to give you the best understanding of how your body works while providing safe and effective workouts.

How we employ: We will never employ any trainer who has less than 1 full year of hands-on personal training, even if he or she has a certification. Anyone can get certified, experience is essential.

Our trainers are there to motivate you and make your workouts fun. But more importantly, their mission is to help you meet your weight and fitness goals.
