tone your muscles more than the 10 rep 1 minute rest program , since there are less
repetitions less calories are burned and there is a lower effect on your endurance , but
your metabolism will increase to burn calories and fat more effectively. Your joints and
connective tissue are a little more vulnerable, but as long as you follow the warm-up and
stretching, you will have no problems. |
Each
of your 8 major muscle groups are trained once per week to give your muscles
adequate recovery time so no over training occurs. There is so much indirect training that
occurs during this program, that if you added more workouts your muscles would tear down
instead of tone. |

to complete a set, which is a grouping of repetitions this allows slightly heavier weights
to be used to increase the tone of your muscles. |
